Final Boss Guide: Underwater B.O.W.

The only real trouble you may have with this boss is not having enough ammo to get the job done. If you can, try and backtrack to pick up enough supplies for bringing down this massive B.O.W.
Thankfully, with enough supplies, the formula for success is simple. Continue to blast away at the glowing red kidney sacks on either side of the monster. Once both are blown away, the monster's bottom half will rush in to electrically reconnect, so keep your distance to avoid getting shocked.
After connecting back up, the B.O.W. will retreat into a cocoon to heal. Use your most powerful explosive weapons (grenade launcher, grenades, etc) to break the shell open, then rush in and stab the monster with R1 (if your partner isn't controlled by A.I., Piers' electric attack seems to also do the job).
Repeat this three times, making sure to keep your distance from the creature, and to retreat behind cover if it uses the black tentacle attack. You can also scour the area for some ammo crates if you run low, though there aren't many to be found! After the third attack, Chris will have to crawl up to the monster for the final blow. Luckily, this is quick and easy. Now time to escape the facility!
As Chris, simply run and jump towards the exit, taking care of the few B.O.W.s that spawn near the gates. As Piers, use your energy weapon to blast the gates open and keep moving. Soon, you'll be out of this section and on to the Resident Evil 6 ending.
