PS4 game releases for February 2016

Digimon, Street Fighter and Far Cry highlight the month of February

PS4 game releases for February 2016

January was a pretty decent month for video games but February seems to kick it up a notch. Anime seems to be a prevalent theme among February releases, but sprinkled between we have some Zombie survival, prehistoric survival and even plant on zombie combat. Whoa!

Let's check out the games coming to PS4 in February.

Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Feb 2

It's been a damn long time since I played a Digimon game. To be specific, the last Digimon game I played and thoroughly enjoyed was Digimon World 3, back on the original PlayStation in 2002. For some reason or another, I missed out on the sprinkled releases through the years. I'm not making that mistake with Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth, which is a turn based RPG that takes place in both the real world and the cyber world. This is also coming to the PS Vita.

Gravity Rush Remastered - Feb 2

Gravity Rush remains as one of the most unique experiences on the PS Vita. The premise itself is wild; You can shift gravity in any direction, and use this mechanic for both puzzle solving, platforming and combat. I always wished to play this game on a big screen TV and Bluepoint made it happen. Look for our review next week.

Megadimension Neptunia VII - Feb 2

The Nep-Nep saga continues with another game. Making its debut on the PS4. More is the name of the game here. More characters to play as, three stories to go through, new transformation modes, a revamped battle system and a new dungeon mini-game await you in this latest installment. If you've been keeping up with the series, then you owe it to yourself to check it out on the PS4.

Arslan: The Warriors of Legend - Feb 9

As much as I love the Warriors series, and as much as I love anime/manga, I'm completely unfamiliar with this specific property. The game is based on the 2015 anime and will feature numerous characters from the show. As is standard in the Warriors series, if you're a fan of mowing down 1000s of soldiers in a given mission, like I do, then Arslan is certainly worth keeping your eye on.
