Remember when Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 Producer David Silverman said that they were doing some “really cool things” to the PlayStation 3 version of his game, things which should leave fans “very pleased?”
Well, it would seem that the EA Store has revealed that the PlayStation 3 version is, in fact, poised to take its place among the Command & Conquer pantheon of games as the “Ultimate Edition” of Red Alert 3.
Included in this supreme version of the title will be many more videos, for one thing, taking advantage of all that ripe Blu-ray real estate. Bloopers, behind-the-scenes, and developer strategy videos will all be there, along with new battleground maps, soundtrack access, a built-in Unit Profiles video encyclopedia, and an exclusive HD version of “Girls of RA3,” which one would assume featured the girls of RA3. But don’t quote me on that.
That certainly does sound like an ultimate edition. Not to sound ungrateful, but rhetorically speaking, what do you think? Can they do more? What would you want to see?
And while we’re at it, do you think the bonus content was worth the wait? Are you PlayStation 3 owners “very pleased” with what you’re getting?
