It’s been a little while since we last heard from Sparkster, Konami’s Rocket Knight. Last time, we saw a trailer for his upcoming PlayStation Network/Xbox LIVE Arcade game, and it looked… well, it looked alright. Good, but like something was missing.
Now, some new gameplay trailers have emerged, and personally speaking, I think the game looks a bit better than it did before. Take a look, and see what you think:
Next up, Sparkster takes to the sky in a more shooter-styled environment, as he blasts away at villains from left to right and top to bottom:
Finally, Sparkster puts his tail to good use to get over some nasty flames and enemies using some convenient railing:
I wish I could put my finger on what it is, but the game looks like it’s improved a bit over what we saw back in October. I’m more interested in playing it now than I was then, that much is for certain.
