Media: Last Window – Story and Overview Trailers

We’ve been keeping track of new details which have surfaced over the past month or so for Last Window, the sequel to the cult Nintendo DS favorite Hotel Dusk: Room 215. So far, Nintendo has made no mention of taking this one out of Japan, but then, they do like to play their cards close to their chest, meaning all we can really do for now is wait, watch, and hope.

As far as watching goes, that’s why we bring this up today, as two new videos have surfaced for the Japanese title. The first is a trailer which gives us some insight into the story… or, at least it would if we knew Japanese. Still, between the previous news (linked above) and what we see here, we can probably piece together what is going on:

Next up, we have an overview trailer, again in Japanese:

Supposing that the language barrier poses little problem for you, then you might be interested to know that the game will arrive on shelves in Japan in three weeks, as of January 14th.

It might be considered interesting to note that the video uses the new DSi LL version of the unit, plus the fatter pen-like stylus. One might wonder whether this is because it’s their newest hardware iteration, or if perhaps this is a way of “targeting” a particular demographic for the game.

Finally, credit goes to NintendDaanNC for the videos. Check out his YouTube channel for lots of other fun, recent Japanese Nintendo videos.
