Feel The Magic 2 US Bound

Sega of America has officially announced today that the sequel to their popular Nintendo DS launch title, Feel The Magic 2 will indeed be released in North America. The forthcoming title developed by the Sonic Team is set to be known in the states as The Rub Rabbits.

While it certainly doesn’t have the ring of Where Do Babies Come From, as its Japanese counterpart is known as, the upcoming DS title will follow the path set by the original iteration of the series and provide truly innovative gameplay accompanied by a stylish art design.

“The Rub Rabbits! delivers a refreshing experience for DS fans featuring customized gameplay that takes gamers to a whole new level of creativity,” said Scott A. Steinberg, Vice President of Entertainment Marketing, SEGA of America, Inc. “Touching is good, and SEGA once again has created a game that maximizes the technological functionality of the Nintendo DS.”

The sequel to the popular DS game is set to come equipped with four new game modes. Sega has revealed today that one of the additions to the series is a game mode titled Hullabaloo Mode. This feature places gamers and a friend in the position of “get finger-tied in rounds of Twister.”

An additional multiplayer mode has also been revealed today, as The Rub Rabbits will incorporate a Connect Mode in which four users can compete in the game’s six multiplayer games. The single player experience of the game has also received a boost. 35 chapters are set to be available in the final version of this product, with the game also offering up an expanded Memories Mode as well as a character customization options in Maniac Mode.

  • All new original music, art, and characters. Brand new customization modes allow you to unlock songs and sounds to make your own original music, and customize your girl’s hair, dress, and shoes in Maniac Mode.
  • Multiplayer Wireless function. Compete in six different multiplayer contests with up to four players.
