Halo Wars Will Not Repeat Small Text Mistakes of Dead Rising and Banjo

Good news for Halo fans who cannot yet afford an HD TV, in spite of the sass some jerks are likely to give you about how cheap they are and how you can get one with a Happy Meal at McDonald’s and the way they just throw theirs to the curb for the garbage collector and buy a new one, rather than be troubled to dust it off.

Back over here in reality, MTV Multiplayer has revealed that Ensemble won’t be making the careless mistakes made notorious in Capcom’s Dead Rising and Rare’s Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, to say nothing of some of EA’s real-time strategy games as well.

That would seem to make “Halo Wars” a likely suspect for the same failings. Not to worry, said [Halo Wars Lead Writer Graeme] Devine: “We’re proud of the experience on SD.” How come? “Half our play-test lab is full of the crummiest standard sets you can find,” he said. — MTV Multiplayer

Glad to hear it. Hell, I almost want to buy the game just to say “thanks for caring.”
