Guild of Dungeoneering gameplay overview and tips to get you started

Start a guild, go dungeoneering

If you've dreamed of building up and managing your own guild, recruiting fearless adventurers to do your bidding and return with spoils then Guild of Dungeoneering might just satisfy that craving. A hybrid of the Roguelike and Card Game genres, GoD tasks players with establishing and running their own guild while going out on expeditions to defeat powerful monsters and come back with riches, which in turn will fund the guild's expansion.

Guild of Dungeoneering is a rather minimalistic game. It doesn't take a long time to grasp the game's concept, though behind its 'pencil drawings on graph paper' aesthetic lie some deeper strategy mechanics.

For those who might not be sold on the concept yet, we put together this gameplay overview which introduces the early parts of the game. This video goes over the basics of guild building as well as dungeon exploring and combat.

You can check out more about the game on the official site, or check out the game's Steam page if you're interested in buying it.
