ESPN Shows and Games Coming to Xbox Live

Microsoft is now working with ESPN to get sports shows such as X Games competitions and other programs onto Xbox Live .

“Delivering content through Xbox 360 is another way that we can connect fans with the sports they have such passion for,” offered Matt Murphy, SVP of digital distribution for ESPN.

Some programs that will be offered are NCAA basketball games, football games and Madden Nation which “chronicles a competition of ‘Madden NFL’ video game players.”

These will run for the standard TV content price expcet for commercial free NCAA games which will go for $3 in standard definition and $4.50 for hi-def version. The NCAA games in particular will be released onto Xbox Live within 48 hours of the game’s finish.
