Darksiders 2 video walkthrough | Where to find the Eternal Throne (Breach / The Maw guide)

Death is out to clear his brother's name and restore order to the realm by resurrecting humanity. To do this, he'll have to smash his way through legions of boss battles, uncover a variety of secrets, and try his best to keep his skull mask from getting dirty. Vito Gesualdi helps you get it done in this video walkthrough!

Start off in the Breach, with a bit of wall jumping to start moving. Hit the pressure plate to slide the spikes across, then do a wall run / jump to get across and turn left into a room of skeletons. Beyond this a small puzzle ensues. To your left, set up a chain of stick bombs leading to the button, then use Redemption to take them out from afar and trigger the explosion. This will raise the bridge, letting you grab the skeleton key, then do a bit of maneuvering in the area now to the left of the missing bridge. 

 

Return to where the locked door was (beyond the retreating spikes with the wall run / jump portion), then continue along the path until you eventually find yourself in a room with two statues. Behind one is a Boatman's Coin, behind the other is a sticky bomb which can be used to take out the yellow rocks overhead. Climb up to this area, then scale all the way to the top. Grab the chest on the roof, then jump off to find yourself in The Maw.

 

Follow the yellow icon on the map, which will eventually lead you to Serpent's Peak. Approach the bell to trigger a cutscene, leading us ever closer to The Gilded Throne...
