RED ZONE

Predator and Prey

This is direclty continued from the green zone. You are initially asked to go to a telemetry truck which is trying to locate Athena and defend the truck from the mutants. Aiming can be a bit difficult but you will get used to it soon. Some of the monsters which come below also throw rocks and stuff at you - especially Hydras. Now, you can automatically defend yourself by hitting the X button when something is thrown at you - the X - defend prompt is shows whenever you are in danger of being hit. If you manage to defend youeself atleast twice then you get a bonus - that is easy.
 
After you are done with the Brawlers and Hydras, a Goliath shows up. But you cannot kill one from a copter so just land in the zone shown and the engineer gets into the copter. Now, fly the copter to another location where you get the coordinates for Dana Mercer. Go there and get out of the copter (hold E). After you speak to her it's mission over.
 
NOTE: You now can hijack copters...

Burned From Memory

And I thought that the Red Zone could not get any worse and Dana tells us of some brawling going on between the forces of humans and mutants. When you reach the locale, you see that the Blackwatch are trying to destroy the remaining Whitelight barrels - since that is our goal too, let's help them. Start taking the canisters that are marked on the screen and jump your way to the incenerator. You can use R to target lock onto the incenarator and throw the canisters from a distance or you can walk into the incenerator and Heller puts them inside by himself - throwing from a destance is better though.
 
After the first batch is destroyed, a truck carrying more of the canisters is intercepted. Make your way to each canister and throw them in the incenerator also. If you summon your Brawlers then you get a bonus. Even though you are helping them a lot, the Blackwatch still want you dead so exit this area.

Last Resort

This is a great mission, filled with good fights. We are informed of a certain Cantrell who is in a Blackwatch base which is under lockdown. To reverse the lockdown, Heller has to destroy all of the fuel tanks around the area. If you use the various launchers with the soldiers around here to destroy the tanks then you can get a bonus. After you destroy the tanks, a large wave of enemies come at you. Kill all of them and Cantrell finally decides to leave the base. Go to where Cantrell is and summon your Brawler Pack to help you out. You need to kill all of the Brawlers and on Juggernaut who are trying to kill him. After the creatures an Evolved with a Whiplash arrives to stop you. Best set your hounds on her. The whip can be a bit irritating but just hold on and try to make ranged attacks or power attacks. Consume her to get the Whipfist.
 
POWER: WHIPFIST
The whipfist is a really good weapon form. Especially again copters or other vehicles since it can make ranged attacks as you hold down the click and also cause a lot of damage with those attacks. In large groups also it is particularly effective - just jump in the middle of a large horde and see what happens - just one click will take out the entire family!!! Some copters then show up for our whip practise - destroy them with the whip and consume Canrell (R and E will make you grab a far away enemy and bring him closer to you.)

 

Spotted Cat

This is the longest Blacknet mission in the game so hol onto your seats. The first in Gentek Support where you are disguised as one of their soldiers and use their weapons to kill mutants - you cannot turn into Heller even if you wanted to. Just make sure to kill everything and the birds should be targeted with R to make for easier kills. After two waves you will get to the scientists, consume all of them to get to the next part.
 
The second is a Stronghold mission. Go to the stronghold and target the sentry guns on top and throw atleast one car so that it destroys atleast one gun for a bonus. After you take out both the guns and make your way inside the base. Keep going and you will come to a room with four whitelight canisters. Target the incenerator with R and you will be able to throw the canisters from a distance. Take care of the canisters and kill the evolved in this place and get out of here.
 
The last one is a suppression mission. Head to the waypoint and start killing everyone. When you see an enemy vehicle though (you'll see one with each wave) bring our your pack and ask them to destroy the vehicle. Keep this up even for APCs, copters and the tanks and you will get a big bonus. After the tank is destroyed in the last wave you can consume Rottweiler to end this.

 

Long Horizon

The last three Blacknet mission will not be in sequence and you occasionally jump from mission to mission.
 
The first part here is Cargo Delivery. Go to the target, you find him in a cage - use anything to destroy the cage and he comes out. The Evolved puts up a fight but you can take him out easily. Kill him and then consume him to get the location of the copters. This cargo delivery is a bit different than the others since you will need to destroy the copters yourself and when they drop the packages, you need to pick them up and go to the next copter. The final copter has an evolved so you will have to kill him to end this mission.
 
The second part is Stronghold. Go to the spot and you see the soldier being surrounded by a pack of Brawlers - strange that they are not attacking him. Anyway, when you try to consume him the pack starts to attack you so kill all of them and consume the soldier. The next location you have is that of a Blackwatch Base. Go there and you find it under attack. If you are patient enough then you will be able to consume the Doctor without causing an alert thereby gaining a bonus. Your next target Chaplin turns out to be an Evolved so kill and consume him. As soon as you come out of the base, some troops see you. To get a bonus here you will need to kill all of the 8 troopers who saw you come out including the two Orions.

 

Stun Circuit

This is the last cargo delivery in the game so automatically, one is led to believe that it is also the most difficult. You will be under hellfire from Blackwatch all during this mission and you are certain to be shot down more than a few times so you gotta bring your A game into this mission.
 
The second part is Suppression. You now need to find Collins who is in a convoy of tanks. Go there and hijack one and destroy the rest to draw him out. He doesn't want to figth so he just starts running. Go behind him and after a long chase you will finally face him but he gets into a chopper. Take down the chopper and kill and consume collins.

 

Clockwork

 
This is the longest blacknet op in the game. The first part is Gentek Support and my favourite support mission. Firstly, you get to fly a copter and kill birds and hydras from the copter and also rescue three Gentek scientists. Go to each zone and clear out the mutants, then land to pick up the scientists. After you get all three of them, they unveil their masterplan. You now need to head to maximum altitude and haul out of the copter.
 
The second part is an Infected Salvage. This time, you need to take on a Goliath and kill it - nothing more to that.
 
The third is also an Infected Salvage. Go to the base and release the specimes inside. Now, go in and kill and consume all of them to get a bonus. There are two different switches which release 3 of the specimens at a time, you ought to release them one switch at a time and after you take out the first three, go back for the second switch and hit it. After you consume all of them, go out of the base and all of the Blacknet mission will have been completed.

Fly in the Ointment

First order of business is to hunt Lincoln and consume him. Get into his gunship and go to the zone. You will come to one of the four commanders - Eliss's copter and you are to escort him safely to the meet. Go behind his copter and take out any of the mutants which you come across. You leavee Ellis for a short bit now and go to another location to kill a few more mutants but you hear that his copter has been shot down so we need to rescue him. Go to his location and start taking out the Hydras which show up. After a lot of killing, he gets into an APC.
 
Now, we need to continue and escort the APC thru the streets till it reaches the meet place. You will come across a lot of Hydras and they also throw rocks at you so you better have a finger on the X button. After a long long time, you get to the palce where Firehawk is being initiated. Consume all of the commanders to get the info on Project Firehawk.

Divine Intervention

 
A Government agent named Griffin knows the whereabouts of Amaya. Use your pulse to locate him and you come to a chopper. Follow the chopper patiently and he lands in the base. As soon as you go in, three Evolved crash the party and take away Griffin. Instead of fighting, just follow the Evolvedd with the blue follow sign on him. Run behind him and he leads you to a rooftop where you can fight them.
 
The three together can be a little problem but nothing too difficult. You can get a bonus if you hit them with six different kinds of attacks - pretty straight forward. After you defeat all of them, consume Agent Griffin to get Amaya'a location.

Operation Firehawk

 
Hell is going to break loose and the Thermobaric Copters are going to help do that. Go to the base and get into one of the copter. This gets you a bonus. Take out the choppers which are below on the landing pads and continue to the ones which are already flying. You will be followed by some attack choppers which can take you down easily so keep moving and if your chopper gets destroyed you ought to hijack another one just because you can make things faster.
 
After you take out all of the one flying around, Galloway calls you and gives you the location of the ammo depot where all of the thermobaric missiles are being stored. You need a chopper to hit the warehouse and if you are already in one then you can take out the warehouse pretty easily.

Lost in the System

Head on towards Dr.Carson's lab and get into the lab. If you take out the soldiers here one by one and take it slow you will get to Carson without raising an alert - hence giving you a bonus. After you consume him, head outside and wait for a copter to pick you up. Before the copter gets to you, a Goliath comes in the fight and takes you on. You can get another bonus here if you can kill the Goliath without taking any damage but that is really tough to do - especially if you are not using a copter or tank. After you kill the Goliath, wait for a copter.
 
As you go towards where Maya is, your copter is intercepted. Three of Mercer's henchmen come in to kick you. Take them down and consume them to get a hold of Mercer's plans for Heller's daughter.

A Labour of Love

 
One of the best missions in the game - also one of the simplest. Just head to the location where the Rooks is and you see that there's a really strong door keeping you out. Start knocking down the door and after a while, you see an Alpha Juggeranut come at Heller who consumes it and gets a pair of Juggernauts to beat up the door. Now, you ought to defend the Juggernauts from getting killed while they try to rip the door open. This is diffcult and they will die. But fortunately, there are more Alpha Juggernauts nearby, kill them and consume them and you get another pack. Go back to the door, target it and use C to command your pack to destroy the door. Defed them properly or you will run out of AlphaNauts.
 
Go inside and see the rest of the drama unfold.

Murder Your Maker

Finally! Alex Mercer himself...
 
After you start the fight, Mercer uses his Blade. If you try to use your blade, he will instantly counter your attacks. You can use either your claws or whipfist here. Using the claws you can jump up in the air and then hold the attack button to make a powerulf lunge. Occasionnaly you will be prompted to Block or Dodge so watch your screen and be ready to hit the buttons. Alex Mercer can kill you very very quickly. Do not stay close to Mercer for more than a second or he will tear Heller apart. ALways be on the move. After you deplete his health fully, he jumps up to come at you, dodge and then hit E to make Heller beat the crap out of Mercer.
 
The second part of the fight has Mercer using his whipfist. This can be extremely annoying. I used Tendrils here. You see, Mercer can do only two kinds of attack when he is near you. One is a combo and it is followed by a power attack. Immediately after the power attack, he is open, keep hitting him with the Tendrils and after a few hits, he jumps over Hellers head - make one more hit and use the block because he will do a power hit at you. If you goes away from Heller then you will need to either block or dodge depending on the situation. If he is using the quake ability then jump in the air and hover around for a few seconds before coming back down. Take him out just like the last time and onto round 3.
 
Before you start the round, hold V to use the Devestator against the Flyers. After that you see that Mercer has the Alpha Hammerfist on him. He can hurt you even if you use the shield here. I preferred to use my blade now. Jump and strike, jump and strike and even the power strike if you can. The blade is the fastest of all the powers you have and you will need all the speed here. Do not stay close to Mercer for even a second. Make your strike and jump away. The usual dodge and block are also to be done. Finally, after you get his health to null he starts to jump around. Use your counter and LMB to tear his arms out one by one - a few times and watch the fun.
