People Like Us

The people that come to GameZone probably aren't the demographic that will enjoy People Like Us, but I'm in touch with my feminine side. Also, I'm married. So I've seen way sappier movie than this. It written and directed by Alex Kurtzman, who's produced and written movies and TV shows like the new Star Trek movies, The Island, Mission Impossible III, Cowboys & Aliens, Hawaii Five-0, Fringe, and The Proposal. So the guy knows his way around good entertainment. It has a star-studded cast of Chris Pine, Elizabeth Banks, Michelle Pfeiffer, Olivia Wilde, and Jon Favreau. It genuinely looks like a touching movie with a good storyline. And I'm liking seeing Chris Pine doing different roles. Good date movie.

You like Family Guy? Well this is pretty much Family Guy the Movie. If you like Mark Wahlberg in The Other Guys, then you'll probably like him here. If you like Seth MacFarlane's humor (and I do) then you'll like this. A grown man and his come-to-life Teddy Bear as adults? Gettin' into shenanigans and sh*t? What's not to love? Well, if you don't like the previous movies or shows I've states, then you probably won't like it. If all the jokes hit, it'll be a good movie. Let's hope they do. I really want to love this, and if you want to see a more accurate portrayal of what the movie will be like, go check out the Ted Redband Trailer. I think it'll be f**king hilarious. But I can totally see how others might not think that.
