Xbox Studios general manager "confused" over too few Xbox One exclusives "rumor"

Because PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds is enough to satisfy those thirsty Xbox players.

The number one complain Xbox owners have had this generation is that there are simply not enough exclusive Xbox One games. Xbox head Phil Spencer commented on the lack of exclusives back in June, saying that Xbox has new games on the way, but that they wouldn't be ready for another two or three years.

Another Xbox official seems a bit "confused" over the assertation that there aren't enough Xbox exclusives. The Xbox Studios general manager claims that Xbox has a "really good" line-up for this holiday season, claiming PlayerUnknown Battlegrounds, Forza Motorsport 7, Super Lucky's Tale, and Cuphead for this year alone - and that's not even counting next year's Sea of Thieves, Crackdown 3 and State of Decay 2.

"In terms of exclusives, I've heard that rumor [lack of exclusive games] and I'm a little bit confused because we have a really good lineup this holiday," said Xbox Studios general manager Shannon Loftis to Game Informer. "We've got the most popular game on the planet in PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds--the Xbox console is going to be the only place where you can play that. We also have Forza Motorsport 7, which every single year reinvents the racing genre and basically, owns racing in the video games industry.

"We have Super Lucky’s Tale, which my team’s working on, and it just makes me happy – it’s a beautiful 3D platformer. And of course, we have Cuphead, which is long-standing, beautiful, handcrafted IP.

"Plus all of our previous exclusives are getting Xbox One X enhancements as well. And then into 2018 we’ve got Sea of Thieves, we have Crackdown 3, and State of Decay 2. I think it’s pretty good – there’s a huge amount of experiences for people to have."

Loftis went on to call this an "incredibly strong line-up" for the Xbox One X, in addition to the 100+ Xbox One X enhanced games on the way.

I have an Xbox One and PS4. I play multiplatform games on Xbox and exclusives on PS... because Xbox doesn't have the new exclusives I'm looking for! What about you?
