WWE Network App hits consoles today

The WWE Network App launches today on PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360, along with a slew of other mobile devices. The subscription-based service -- the first-ever 24/7 streaming network -- gives viewers access to all 12 WWE live pay-per-view events and thousands of hours of on-demand wrestling content including reality shows, documentaries, original programming and archived classic matches (even from WCW and ECW events).

If you're looking to satisfy your wrestling cravings, the WWE Network simply requires a monthly subscription of $9.99; however, you need to commit to at least six months of service. Additionally, Xbox 360 owners are also required to have an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to use the WWE Network app. For a limited time, WWE will offer a free one-week trial of WWE Network.

“Today is a historic day for WWE as we transform and reimagine how we deliver our premium live content and 24/7 programming directly to our fans around the world,” said Vince McMahon, WWE Chairman & Chief Executive Officer. “WWE Network will provide transformative growth for our company and unprecedented value for our fans.”

Xbox One owners will have access to the app this summer.
