World of Warcraft's Death Grip on the MMO Market is Weakening

As of 2008, World of Warcraft accounted for 60% of the subscription-based MMO market, according to GamesIndustry.biz.

However, that number dropped to 54% in 2009, and as higher quality experiences like the Old Republic and the Torchlight MMO make their way to the market, Blizzard is going to need a cataclysmic turn of events to keep from losing even more market share.

What MMOs do you play? I'm on the West Coast server of Hello Kitty Online if anyone wants to do some Keroppi raids tonight.
