WB Publishing Lollipop Chainsaw in North America

Not too long ago, we reported that Suda51 and Grasshopper Manufacture were working on a brand new IP. Titled Lollipop Chainsaw, the game is set to star a high school cheerleader who also happens to be a zombie hunter. Given the fact that Suda51 is behind this project, it's obvious that we'll see a ton of insanity and crazy humor.

Earlier today, it was revealed that Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment will be publishing the North American version of the game. First off, it's great to learn that the game will indeed be localized outside of Japan. Though I'm certain we all expected it to be anyway, it's always reassuring to get confirmation so soon after the game's initial announcement.

If you're interested in finding out more about Lollipop Chainsaw and keeping up-to-date with any new reveals, you'll be glad to know that there are a bunch of sites already running for the game. Be sure to scope out the game's Facebook page, Twitter accounts (one for the game and one for protagonist Juliet), and official website. Here's hoping all of this promotion helps Lollipop Chainsaw gain a bit more attention than Shadows of the Damned. I'm still totally upset about that game selling so few copies.

Grasshopper Manufacture is at it again, folks. It appears that the developer is looking to offer up another crazy game. If you're a fan of Suda51's previous work and enjoy solid gaming experiences, definitely keep Lollipop Chainsaw on your radar.
