Watch the Japanese explain Tearaway in a mock children's show

Tearaway

The video below puts a couple Japanese actors in front of camera and tasks them with explaining Media Molecule's recent papercraft-platforming game, Tearaway, for PlayStation Vita.

It's surprisingly long at 10 minutes, but the opening minute does a good job at conveying just how weird it is. There's also plenty of footage of the game itself — and yes, real-life papercraft.

I have no idea what they're saying, but that's OK: Tearaway is awesome. Lesson learned.

Tearaway launched exclusively for the Vita on Nov. 22.
