[Watch] Monster Hunter: World releases 23 minutes of glorious gameplay

Here's one brutal monster you will be tracking down.

Coming off of a surprise reveal during Sony's E3 2017 presser, Monster Hunter: World has released an all-new comprehensive gameplay video that lasts for about 23 minutes, showing off an entire quest from start to finish. The demo takes place within the lush greenery of the Ancient Forest as the player tracks down an all-new beast called Anjanath.

Here's the demo:

As you can see, in Monster Hunter: World, the game has a living ecosystem chocked full of predators and prey, and there are even moments where the player will witness the wildlife partake in a little survival of the fittest. Even the fauna's gotta eat, right?

Players will have a boatload of tools available for them to take down their prey including the slinger and Scoutfly. Battling strategically is key, as you can use other monsters hanging around the environment as distractions while you pummel it from afar.

Monster Hunter: World will have region-free servers as well as Xbox One X support and won't be scaled dow for Western audiences.

Monster Hunter: World will release on PS4 and Xbox One in Early 2018 and at a later date for PC.
