Gamers looking to get a PlayStation 4 this holiday season should check out Walmart this Sunday, December 15, as the retailer revealed to GameZone that the "largest shipment" of PlayStation 4 consoles is arriving this weekend. If you plan on getting one though, you better be prepared to fight off the masses early in the morning.
"Walmart continues to spread the cheer to customers with its largest shipment yet of the new PlayStation 4 consoles, arriving at stores across the country starting at 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 15," a Walmart representative told GameZone. For those of you who don't feel like shopping in your jammies, PS4 consoles will also be available for purchase, while supplies last, on the retailer's website.
The new shipment of PS4s arrive just in time for Walmart's Christmas Countdown Savings Event. Starting at 8:00am on Friday, December 13, Walmart is dropping the prices on toys, video games, electronics and more. Call of Duty: Ghosts, Battlefield 4, Assassin's Creed 4: Black Flag, GTA 5, and other select Xbox 360 and PS3 titles will be available for $39.96 ($20 savings).
With the PS4 supply clearly struggling to keep up with consumer demand, this may be your last chance to snag Sony's new console before the holidays.
