Until Dawn developer Super Massive no longer wants to be a Sony exclusive develper

Now developing multi-platform titles

Until Dawn was one of the most successful PS4 games earlier this year and featured a number of innovative endings with its multitude of choice options. Developer Super Massive, a long time developer for Sony, has recently expressed a desire to leave the publisher in order to develop multi-platform games.

In an interview with MCVUK, the studio's Director Pete Samuels told the outlet that

"I've loved it, they are great to work with and we have a strong relationship with them. I think a lot of the work we do with them aligns well with what we want to do and where we want to go. But yes, we are an independent studio and we are keen, going forward, to bring our games to wider audiences than we have in the past. That's what we are all about right now, and it's an exciting time for us."

Unfortunately, Sony owns the rights to Until Dawn so a sequel and/or original releasing on Xbox One just isn't going to happen. After Until Dawn: Rush of Blood on VR for Sony, the studio appears to be working on all unannounced projects for multi-platform. Any ideas at this point what they could be? Let us know below.
