Uncharted: The Lost Legacy and Mario + Rabbids Battle For #1 in UK Charts
Two departures from formula; two successful ventures.
This week, Uncharted: The Lost Legacy remained at No.1 in the Uk boxed game charts, just barely out-selling Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle.
According to GamesIndustry.biz, Uncharted won in terms of unit sales, but in terms of revenue, the trophy goes to Mari + Rabbids. That's because the two games costs are different. In the UK, Mario + Rabbids is sold at £45, versus Uncharted at £25.
This is a bit surprising, considering Uncharted: The Lost Legacy is essentially a stand-alone expansion to Uncharted 4 and Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle is a mash-up spin-off. This seems to spell good things for thinking outside the box and taking a risk with existing IPs.
Below the two winners, F1 2017 slots at No.3 in the UK charts, followed by GTA V, which refuses to stay in 2013 and continues to dominate with GTA Online.
Next week, Destiny 2 will launch, which will undoubtedly top the charts. Here's the full list of chart toppers this week:
