Uncharted 3 Drake's Deception Map Pack coming Tuesday to U.S.

Uncharted 3's new Drake's Deception Multiplayer Map Pack will be released in the U.S. on Tuesday, April, 10th.  The map pack will be available for download on Wednesday, April 11th in Europe.

Available via the PS Store, the Drake's Deception Map Pack for Uncharted 3 includes four all-new multiplayer maps:

  • Graveyard map sets you in motion as you fight among ships and shipping crates on rolling waves.
  • Old Quarter seems like a lovely scene on a cool Yemen night, but it’s full of dangerous alleys and dimly lit rooms.
  • The bar, the back alleys and the broadways of the London Streets map offer some prime spots for a knock-down, drag-out turf war, so be sure to stop by the Pelican Inn for some more brawling.
  • The Oasis map used to provide respite for a Bedouin camp, but now serves as a sun-drenched battlefield for your multiplayer matches.

The new maps received a lot of "love and polish", including new dynamic events that occurs as the match progresses.  In Graveyard, for instance, a patrol boat will circle the boarder and launch grenades.  In Oasis, a passing plane will drop a shipping crate that can flatten you (or your enemy!) if you don’t make way.  London Street and Old Quarter also contain dynamic events, but Naughty Dog didn't spoil them.

As a standalone purchase, this new map pack will cost $9.99.  Members of the Fortune Hunters' Club, of course, receive this map for free.

If you aren't yet a member of the Fortune Hunters' Club, it's not too late.  You have until April 17th, 2012 to join the club and receive this map pack, along with all of the previously released DLC, for just the cost of joining.  The $24.99 membership saves you more than 60% on 14 packs of Uncharted 3 DLC.

Naughty Dog still has some ideas about future Uncharted 3 DLC, but will be looking to the forums for fan feedback about "various ideas" they ahve for the future of Uncharted 3 multiplayer.
