Ubisoft highlights six Wii U launch titles

In a last minute push before the launch of Nintendo's Wii U, Ubisoft has highlighted six titles that will be available immediately in North America on November 18 and in EMEA territories on November 30.

The diverse lineup consists of Assassin's Creed 3, ESPN Sports Connection, Just Dance 4, Rabbids Land, Your Shape: Fitness Evolved 2013, and ZombiU, allowing Ubisoft to bring a little something for everyone that owns a Wii U. Following the system's launch, Ubisoft will release additional titles including Marvel Avengers Battle for Earth and Rayman Legends.

Ubisoft currently has the most Wii U titles announced among third-party developers. Ubisoft games represent nearly 25% of the launch day titles for the console — all part of Ubisoft's plan to become the leading third-party publisher for the Wii U.

“Ubisoft strives to continually deliver unique gaming experiences and the Wii U system allows our studios to explore innovative gameplay concepts for our fans,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of sales and marketing at Ubisoft. “Our Wii U launch lineup is the perfect example of our development teams creating games for fans of all ages and diverse genres.”

While we're confident in Ubisoft's third-party titles, one particular game — ZombiU — has caught our eye. After previewing the game and getting our hands on the multiplayer portion of it, it is one of our most highly-anticipated games. Check out the latest details for ZombiU here.
