Ubisoft details Dungeon Hunter Alliance for the PlayStation Vita

It's no secret that the PlayStation Vita launch in the U.S. and Europe will be accompanied with an extremely strong lineup of games.  With a list of titles that includes games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss, Little Deviants, FIFA Soccer, and Rayman Origins, it's easy to see how other great titles could get easily overlooked.  One such title is Dungeon Hunter Alliance and, today, Ubisoft gave a brief overview of the game.

"With Dungeon Hunter Alliance,we're bringing back that feeling of exploring a fantasy universe along with your friends," explained Ubisoft PR Coordinator Alex Monney.

In fact, Dungeon Hunter Alliance has drawn some comparisons to the popular PSP game, Untold Legends -  a similar dungeon explorer.

Dungeon Hunter Alliance, which is also available for PS3, gives you that unique multiplayer experience spanning over 30 levels with an "immense world of dungeons, villages, and forests to explore, including areas that are randomly generated."

With the PS Vita, "You’ll be able to take the experience with you, exploring the depths of Gothicus, facing off against evil creatures, and enhancing your character while you’re on the go," said Monney.

In addition, Sony has added PS Vita-specific features, including touchscreen controls.

"Players can tap the front touchscreen to pick up items and zoom in or out. The back touch panel will control the fairy to perform spells (especially useful when providing spell support with friends),"  Monney explained. "Finally, the accelerometer gives players the option to shake their device to counter rival curses."

PS Vita owners can pick-up Dungeon Hunter Alliance when the game releases on February 14th, a week before the Vita's official launch.  But if you pre-ordered your 1st Edition Bundle of the 3G Vita, you could actually play this game the day it releases!  Dungeon Hunter Alliance will be available for $39.99.
