Turtles in Time Re-Shelled Says Bye-Bye to the US

It has been reported that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled is being removed from Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. The game garnered large amounts of criticism, so does this really bother anyone? I don't think so.

Apparently, the reason for the game's post-release axe is due to an expiring license. Effective June 30, Turtles in Time Re-Shelled will no longer be available to US gamers. That means if for some reason you like playing bad games, you might want to hurry and download it. Of course, I would recommend playing the hilariously bad Duke Nukem Forever instead.

The original Turtles in Time was one hell of a beat 'em up. It's a real shame that this remake didn't live up to its full potential. I mean, it looked pretty cool--it just failed to deliver with gameplay.

On a related note, I hope to someday play awesome remakes of my favorite Turtles games. That entire franchise was easily one of my favorites as a kid, and I would like to see a new game or remake that does the series justice. As long as they don't remake that first Turtles game that landed on the NES. That was horrible.
