Publisher Kalypso Media has announced the launch of the newest DLC for Tropico 4, Pirate Heaven. The new content, which is currently available on the PC version of the game, will come to the Xbox 360 version later this year.

The Pirate Heaven DLC will bring sleazy back, allowing you to employ all manner of sinister tactics within the world of Tropico 4. International blockades got you down? No worries. Just import your goods through the new Smuggler's Hut building, which makes embargoes a thing of the past.

Pirate Heaven also introduces the new Sailor character trait, which boosts your naval units. Then there's the Pirate Queen avatar, which adds a feminine touch of rotten pirate goodness. The last new feature in the DLC is the Pirate Haven mission, which should provide fans with a pillagin' good time.

If you've got a hankering for some more Tropico 4, perhaps the Pirate Heaven content will suit your needs. For more on the base game, check out our full review.
