Total War: Warhammer To Get One More Race This Summer Before Sequel

Squeaking one more in there.

Creative Assembly has announced the development of Total War: Warhammer 2, but before they transition fully to the new title, they plan to release one more race to the original Total War: Warhammer.

In a blog post, the developer stated that there is a new pack called 'The Old Friend', which is expected to be similar to the free DLC 'Blood Knight'. However, this is in addition to the new race.

“We’d been thinking about what sort of content could be added to the first game, and what that might be,” the blog post said.

“We’ve hit on something we think is a pretty good opportunity to add some more content to the game, so there will be a new Race Pack released later in the year before Warhammer 2 is released.”

No hints have been given as to what race will be added, but we do know that it will add unique gameplay mechanics.

Creative Assembly has also announced that there is another historical Total War title in the works. Take a look at the Total War: Warhammer 2 Trailer.
