Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD Coming Summer 2012

During the VGA pre-show, it was revealed that Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD will launch in the summer of 2012.

It's the "best of our first two games but for the new consoles," Tony Hawk said said. "All the same gameplay people love and the joystick controls, big scoring combos and a lot of the classic stuff we had but some new stuff as well."

Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD will be a downloadable game that gives select levels from the first two Tony Hawk games an HD makeover.

According to Hawk, "People can come back to it and find new challenges to do, not just the ones we set up for them. But we're going back to the old two minute challenges, collect the letters, get the combos, get the scores. I'm out of my mind excited about it."

The downloadable game will be "relatively cost effective.  Less than $20," he said.  The new game does include the levels "School" and "Downhill" reported Joystiq.  More should be revealed during the VGAs.
