This is how you protect your neighborhood

Toronto neighborhoods are now under the protection of video game’s icons thanks to artist Andrew Lamb.

“I walked by and thought those signs would be much better with a superhero up there,” Lamb told CBS News. Thanks to a combination of wheat paste and cutout graphics, the area’s Neighbourhood Watch signs are now adorned with dozens of video game, movie and television characters.

Mario and Mega Man

Bring it on, burglars!

Mario, Samus Aran and Mega Man are the standout features for the video game crowd, but comic fans will sleep well at night knowing that Spiderman, Wonder Woman and Iron Man are on the watch as well. All right, maybe Spiderman wouldn’t make a great body guard, but the gesture is sound.
