There's now a Blue Screen Simulator on Steam Greenlight

Well, folks, this is it. The downfall of Steam Greenlight. Indie developers have officially run out of unique ideas and are instead resorting to the very same tactic AAA game publishers get chastised for doing: oversaturating the gaming market with generic clones. In this case, its the simulation genre.

I don't know if this is a joke -- I hope it is -- but Black Shell Games is proposing Blue Screen Simulator 2014, a game that "simulates various Blue Screen of Death errors." The game -- jokingly, I hope -- promises elements of action (smash you keyboard/monitor in rage), adventure (explore different Blue Screens), horror (nothing more horrific than a Blue Screen after two hours of unsaved homework) and more.

On the plus side, if this game like this does get greelit, it'll at least be free-to-play. But judging by the reactions of most Steam users, I think it'll fail. I like to think the Steam community desires something more than just another clone game.
