The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces
Now Shipping

The Wii-Exclusive Air Combat Game
Takes Flight

XSEED Games is pleased to announce
today that The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is now shipping to retailers across
North America, exclusively for Wii. The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces is the Wii-exclusive
air combat game developed by the Project ACES team of Ace Combat fame.

The somber story of a world that
needs war to survive, based on a novel series by Hiroshi MORI and adapted into
an animated film directed by Mamoru Oshii and released by Sony Pictures in the
US, is told with a combination of animated cut-scenes and voiced in-game
sequences during battle. Players take on the role of a rookie pilot, code-named
“Lynx,” new to the combat pilot group known as the Sky Crawlers. Dogfighting
simulation and flight is mirrored by a unique gameplay mechanic; players hold
the Nunchuk in the right hand as the flight control stick, tilted to roll,
pitch, and yaw, while the Wii Remote, acting as the throttle, is held in the
left hand and is tilted up to accelerate and down to decelerate.

The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces,
rated “T” for teen, is now shipping to retailers across North American at the
suggested retail price of $29.99. The retail release comes with reversible cover
art which can be flipped to reveal the same front box art as the Japanese
release. For more information, please visit the official site at:
