Tales of Xillia Localization a Possibility?

Back in July, we reported on the possibility of a Tales of Xillia localization in North America. According to Namco Tales Studio, the game's success in Japan won't have a direct impact on its localization. Instead, North American gamers' reaction to the game will be the top determining factor.

A Twitter user who goes by the username of Aeana recently provided some findings that may indicate an impending international release for Tales of Xillia. According to Aeana, there seem to be several translation-ready files within Tales of Xillia. These localization files could mean a future release for Tales of Xillia in North America, and you can bet countless PlayStation 3 owners would definitely be stoked about that.

The files seem to be in different languages, which could definitely point toward release in multiple regions. According to Aeana's findings, the files were for possible English, French, and Italian localizations. No doubt countless gamers outside Japan will be excited about this.

Now, this doesn't necessarily mean that the game is going to be localized outside of Japan. Sure, it's a possibility, but you always have to look at findings such as this one from every angle. Having localization files included in a game isn't uncommon, as there is always the possibility of a game being developed outside of its original region, but it doesn't always happen. Here's hoping we get more information on the matter straight from Namco Bandai.
