Take a tour through the snowy Haven in Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved

Harmonix, the team behind the ever popular Guitar Hero and Dance Central franchise are bringing a new kind of rhythm game to Microsoft's Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved will put you in the spotlight as a Sorcerer's Apprentice, being able to wave your arms to make and remix various songs, from pop to classical.

In this trailer, we get to see the new area of The Haven, which players will be able to explore and bring light to the world and discover fun musical interaction.

The Haven will include these three songs to play and remix:

  • Antonio Vivaldi – “Four Seasons: Winter: 1st Movement”
  • Fun. – “Some Nights”
  • Kimbra – “Settle Down”

The game allows you to remix songs by switching up the composition of instruments. In this trailer, you can see two parts where the players can switch to different instruments, effectively changing up the sound of the song. Unfortunately, this video doesn't showcase that, which is a shame because that's definitely one of the cooler aspects of Fantasia.

You can look out for Disney Fantasia: Music Evolved for Xbox 360 and Xbox One in 2014.
