Now if only it came in a cartridge.

Stranger Things Has a Free SNES-Like Mobile Game And It Looks Awesome

Do you love Stranger Things? Don't answer, of course, you do. Many of you probably know the second season is coming at the end of this month, but today we got a little extra treat in the form of a game for iOS and Android. The best part is, it doesn't look like one of those cheap marketing gimmicks, it actually looks pretty fun!

The game is free, obviously to promote season 2, but it's not "Free"-to-play, meaning it doesn't have additional purchases. It's a 16-bit retro game filled with 80s references all over the place. The best part is, there are two difficulties: Normal and Classic. Classic difficulty harkens back to the days of games being "Nintenhard". Remember that phrase?

The game has you switching between characters from the show, all with different abilities to solve puzzles and best enemies. You can get the game now on iOS and Android. Also, season 2 of Stranger Things comes to Netflix on October 27.
