As the Star Wars: The Old Republic New York Comic-Con panel came to a close, BioWare treated us to a brand new trailer. "Signs of War" shows the build-up to battle in the upcoming MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic.
"As the Treaty of Coruscant dissolves, the galaxy finds itself back on the brink of all out war. Chaos and corruption run rampant, and the mighty armies of both the Galactic Republic and the Sith Empire prepare themselves for the inevitable showdown."
The new trailer wasn't the only thing shown off at the SWTOR panel. Also discussed were Flashpoints and Operations, the equivalent to dungeons and raids in many of today's MMORPGs. Described as "tightly scripted", these "dungeons" will always be avaialble all the way through the leveling experience.
The panel also addressed morality paths and character alignment, minigames at launch, and Warzones.
It was also announced that Star Wars: The Old Republic will now launch globally on December 20.
