Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer Breakdown: Yoda's voice, Obi-Wan mentioned, and more

Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer Breakdown: Yoda's voice, Obi-Wan mentioned, and more

The two-minute long teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi officially dropped and whether or not it built the hype in all Star Wars fans, it came with some cool scenes. We saw Luke's world in flames next to R2-D2, we saw Captain Phasma storming an equally as fiery location (for like 2 seconds), a bit of a training montage for Rey, Finn in what appears to be stasis, a space battle, Poe's ship getting bamboozled, and a bit of other stuff

There's all that, but there's even more! Hidden in the trailer are voices some voices!

  • 0:48 Leia saying "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi"
  • 0:55 Palpatine talking to Anakin + Darth Vader breath
  • 0:59 Yoda

Now that we've covered that, you can see Rey using Anakin's lightsaber and the AT-AT Walkers below!

Rey + The Force

In Episode 7, The Force Awakens, we saw Rey use her Force skills, but it's pretty clear that she will be using them even more in Episode 8.

Kylo's helmet

Either Kylo Ren got really upset and destroyed his own helmet or someone else did it for him. Either way, we better get used to his face (unless he gets a new helmet).

Rey using Anakin's lightsaber:

Rey is getting trained to be a Jedi by Luke with Anakin's lightsaber and she will probably end up using it against his former pupil (who destroyed everything) later on (after he gets some training from the dark side).

Kylo and Rey

These two scenes might not be related, especially considering that the atmosphere is pretty darn different in each scene, but you get the idea. Do you feel the angst?

What's that in the distance? Oh, it's just a line of WALKERS!

Look! Loooook! It's AT-AT Walkers.

Star War: The Last Jedi is set for release December 15, 2017.
