Splinter Cell: Conviction Giveaways
Ubisoft and GameZone have partnered up for several giveaways
In effort to build up to Splinter Cell: Conviction’s release on April 13 here in
US, we are reaching out to our loyal readers to inform everyone of amazing
offers and giveaways on Ubisoft’s behalf.
First off, let’s speak about the ability to play Splinter Cell: Conviction
before it hits store shelves. At participating GameStop locations (see below),
Ubisoft is giving gamers a chance to play Conviction’s co-op mode and have a
snake peak at the in-game SPAS-12 gun that is exclusive to GameStop pre-orders.
For any of our readers that attend, the following prizes are being given away to

Post the photo on Twitter (@Real_SamFisher
or @GameZoneOnline)
and you’ll be automatically qualified.
2 – The same
rules apply for Facebook, but you’ll have to post them on GameZone’s official
Facebook page or
Splinter Cell’s Third Echelon page.
3 – To win a copy
via our home page, you’ll need to send a picture of yourself to our community
manager, Dakota Grabowski ([email protected]).
He’ll be attending the Los Angeles, California launch event if readers are
interested in meeting up and having a good time in Splinter Cell: Conviction.
4 – The last way
to win is by sending us an 80 second video on why you deserve a copy via our
YouTube channel. The best video will be selected as the winner.
The giveaways are open to all of our
worldwide readers. The YouTube video contest ends on April 9 while the three
picture submissions must be turned in by April 10. Runner-up prizes are still in
the process of being determined.

Ubisoft and
partners Microsoft and GameStop are pleased to announce the official Tom
Clancy’s Splinter Cell Conviction debut on April 1, 2010. Celebrating the
upcoming launch of this highly-anticipated game, releasing exclusively on the
Xbox 360, the Premiere event will be held at Les Deux Nightclub in Hollywood,
California while ten other first-to-plays will take place in GameStop locations
across the country. Featuring first-to-play co-op gaming sessions for Splinter
Cell fans and celebrities alike, these events are the perfect time and place for
Splinter Cell fans to get their Sam Fisher fix before the game hits store
shelves on April 13, 2010.
Splinter Cell
fans in the Los Angeles area are invited to participate in first-to-play
sessions from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. PST prior to the celebrity red carpet Premiere
event beginning at 8 p.m PST. The Premiere will feature the “Search for Sam
Fisher,” a live interactive game pitting attendees against each other in the
search for Sam himself. Fifteen attendees (21+) at the L.A. co-op gaming event
will be chosen to participate in the search and one lucky grand prize winner
will win the ultimate gaming grand prize featuring the Xbox 360 Splinter Cell
Conviction Special Edition Bundle and a library of Ubisoft Xbox 360 games.
Concurrent with
the Premiere, GameStop is hosting first-to-play co-op demo events at 10 store
locations nationwide from 9:00 p.m. to midnight on April 1, 2010, in Boston,
Orlando, New York City (two locations), Denver, Chicago, San Francisco, San
Jose, Dallas and New Jersey. Attendees will be the first-to-play with the
GameStop exclusive in-game SPAS-12 suppressor shotgun and have the opportunity
to win Xbox and Ubisoft prizes, including Xbox Live Gold memberships and copies
of Splinter Cell Conviction. The first 100 attendees at each location will also
receive a free Splinter Cell Conviction beanie.
