Space Hulk: Deathwing releases massive content update coinciding with a Steam Sale

Warhammer has quite the passionate following, and it seems to be reflected in Space Hulk: Deathwing's most recent update which launched just a few short days ago. Citing feedback from a "dedicated community," developer Streum On Studio has released a pretty massive patch for the game which brings a host of gameplay improvements and new weapons and expanded class loadouts to its multiplayer. 

Here's a short list of what has arrived to Space Hulk: Deathwing courtesy of the game's Steam Community Announcements page:

  • More weapons in Multiplayer – this includes the addition of the Heavy Flamer and Hellfire.
  • Expanded class loadouts in Multiplayer – each class has more choice of what to bring into battle!
  • Improved multiplayer load times – simultaneous loading time for all players.
  • Performance improvements.
  • Loading time improvements.
  • General stability improvements.
  • Multiplayer experience improvements.
  • Improved Anti-Aliasing options.
  • Hardware-related issues Fixes (on AMD GC).

Space Hulk: Deathwing is also now on sale on Steam, getting a 33% discount, which brings its price to $26.79. The game is currently only available on PC, but it is set to come to PS4 and Xbox One later this year as an Enhanced Edition. When it comes out, the Enhanced Edition will be a free upgrade to current owners on PC.
