Sony Streaming E3 Press Conference Live

Last week we reported that Nintendo would be streaming their E3 press conference live via their official event site. Today the folks over at Sony have announced that they too will be live streaming their press conference on the internet. This news came courtesy of the official PlayStation Blog.

According to Sony Social Media Manager Jeff Rubenstein, the PlayStation 3 and PSP manufacturer is giving fans the chance to check out their E3 coverage as it happens, something the company says gamers have been asking for. "You've been requesting it, so for the first time, we'll be broadcasting the entirety of the PlayStation press conference directly into this blog," posted Rubenstein.

This is certainly great news for those who won't get to attend E3 and want to be up to date with all of the big announcements. In addition to full press conference coverage, Sony will also give gamers an inside look at developer interviews, demos, and more. "Additionally, we're setting up a mini-studio in the PlayStation booth, and we'll be bringing in developers while the show floor is open for interviews, live demos, and to answer your questions via a built-in chat module," announced Rubenstein.

Be sure to check out Sony's E3 coverage, as the company will be discussing the NGP, or Vita (ugh). Additionally, we're bound to learn more about SCEA's hotly anticipated titles. E3 begins next week. Stay tuned.
