Sony NGP Battery Life Will Be Comparable to the PSP
Nintendo's 3DS may only last an hour or so before pooping itself and taking a nap, but the recently-unveiled NGP from Sony is looking to have a comparable battery life to the original PSP, despite considerably more going on under the hood.
"It'll be about the same as the original PSP," Sony Worldwide Studios' Shuhei Yoshida told 1UP. Current PSPs average 3-6 hours during gameplay and 3-5 during video playback.
Sony Europe boss Andrew House told Eurogamer the NGP will have "good, solid battery life because of two factors," pointing to the unannounced card-based media and the fancy new OLED screen.
Sounds like Sony should have reserved their "It only does everything" tagline for the NGP, because it's already a hell of a lot more functional than the PS3.
