Sony: “Surprises” Coming to PS3 In Coming Months

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe CEO Jim Ryan dropped some huge hints about future PS3 news coming at "the back end of the year".

During an interview with OPM UK, Ryan teased, "There’s a bunch of stuff at the back end of the year – I’ll just tease you with this because I not going to tell you what because I can’t – which I’m very excited by, and you’ll hear about [it] over the coming months. [It'll] give you plenty to write about.”

With it already being December 3rd, there isn't much time left for the rest of "this year".  This hint could have something to do with the PS3-exclusive reveal that is going to happen at the VGAs this month.  The VGAs and PS3 have garnered much attention in the later part of this year thanks to Geoff Keighley hyping the reveal as a "PS3 exclusive you won't believe."   Of course with the VGAs right around the corner, this PS3 news might be something much larger than that and could roll into the beginning of next year.

There have been rumors of a PS3 macot fighter, similar to Nintendo Super Smash Bros., as the possible VGA announcement, but the reveal of the game codenamed "Title Fight" have already been denied by Keighley.

What do you make of this PS3 "stuff at the back end of the year"?  Will it be a new game, or something much larger?
