Sony Registers Several Assassin's Creed Domain Names


Either Sony is really big fans of the Assassin's Creed game, or a movie deal is almost a sure thing by now.  Our friends at Fusible have uncovered further evidence that an Assassin's Creed movie is on it's way in the near future.  According to them, several pretty distinct domain names were registered by Sonyon October 20th, including:

It's worth noting that neither Sony nor Ubisoft have confirmed the deal, but if Sony is attempting to hide the deal, they sure have a funny way of doing so.  Of course, they could just being securing those names for the future.  Seeing as how news of a possible Assassin's Creed film spread like wildfire last week, it's easy to understand why Sony is trying to cover all loose ends.  They wouldn't want to get into a bidding war with some domain hoarder who caught wind of the possible movie deal and bought up all of the domain names.
