So Yeah, uDraw Isn't So Hot on 360, PS3

Despite the fact that THQ's uDraw tablet is a pretty good peripheral, it hasn't exactly delivered in terms of sales. According to a recent statement by THQ, the accessory failed to turn out high figures for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. This came as a bit of a surprise to THQ, as the uDraw tablet managed to do pretty good on the Wii.

According to THQ President Brian Farrell, uDraw failed to meet the expectations of the company. "Despite uDraw's strong success on the Wii in fiscal 2011 and market research indicating strong demand for uDraw on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, initial sales of our uDraw tablet and software on these high-definition platforms have been weaker than expected," explained Farrell.

The THQ boss went on to say that both Saints Row: The Third and WWE '12 are well on their way to delivering expected sales numbers. According to Farrell, THQ's main titles are expected to sell increasingly well during the holiday season. "WWE '12 and Saints Row: The Third are expected to perform at or better than the levels we discussed on our fiscal 2012 second quarter earnings call," he said. "As we continue to move through the third quarter, we are focused on driving sales of our key holiday titles and maximizing profitability."

So there you have it, folks. The uDraw isn't so hot on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Remember when this peripheral seemed like a great idea? Yeah, I don't either.
