Skyrim Will Have DLC, Out for 360 First

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is due out for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC this November. In all honesty, though, you probably already knew that. After all, it is one of the most anticipated games, and it certain to be on the list of must-buy titles for plenty of gamers.

Despite Skyrim’s slightly distant launch date, though, Bethesda has made it a point to announce that the game will feature add-on DLC. Though we currently have absolutely no idea what this DLC may be, the company has promised that at least two DLC packs will launch for the game post-release. That’s certainly good news for potential Skyrim players, and it gives them something else to look forward to. You know, aside from the game itself.

Unfortunately, some PlayStation 3 and PC gamers may be a bit upset to learn that the Skyrim DLC will arrive on Xbox 360 first. Not just a few days earlier, though. No, gamers who play Skyrim on their Xbox 360 consoles will have access to the add-on content 30 days before players who own the game for PlayStation 3 and PC.

This is kind of a shame, and there are bound to be more than a few upset gamers as a result of this news. Hopefully it doesn’t bother too many of you, though. Hey, look on the bright side: Skyrim is going to be awesome, and you’re still going to get to play the main game on the same day as everyone else!
