Skyrim Patch 1.2 Going Live Tonight for Xbox 360, Tomorrow for PC
Yesterday, PlayStation 3 users saw the much-anticipated arrival of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim patch 1.2.
PlayStatyion 3 users saw the patch fix the laggy performance issues resulting from long term play due to unusually large save files, but they aren't the only ones who experienced problems with the massive RPG. Xbox 360 gamers faced their own set of problems in the form of texture issues. According to the recent patch notes, the issues where textures would not properly upgrade when installed to the Xbox 360 hard drive was said to be fixed.
As for Xbox 360 and PC users playing Skyrim can expect the update on their machiens, Bethesda estimated a release date for tomorrow, November 30th. While at the time it wasn't 100% guaranteed, Bethesda's VP of Marketing and PR Pete Hines confirmed that the 1.2 update will, in fact, go live tomorrow.
According to Pete Hines, the Xbox 360 update will go live tonight. "I believe the XBL time for updates is 0 hr GMT," Hines clarified today.
PC users will have to wait a bit longer as the update will roll out on Steam tomorrow afternoon according to the official Elder Scrolls twitter.
