High Octane Combat Racer Hits North American and European Retail Shelves This Week

SEGA of America, Inc. and SEGA Europe Ltd. today announced that Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP has shipped to North American and European retailers. Full Auto 2: Battlelines puts high-speed vehicles outfitted with weapons and armor into fully destructible urban street environments. Players can destroy the environment to dynamically change track conditions to block competitors, open new paths, or crush opponents with falling debris caused by well-timed missiles. Full Auto 2: Battlelines was built from the ground up specifically for the PSP system and features exclusive content including a new 56-event single-player story mode, 15 selectable cars, numerous multiplayer and arena modes via Ad-Hoc connections, game sharing capabilities, and a host of new weapons guaranteed to cause massive destruction and havok.

With more than 15 tracks in the game, Full Auto 2: Battlelines pushes the PSP system’s technological boundaries with breathtaking displays of destruction, physics, and speed. Players can get behind the wheel of 15 different vehicles in Full Auto 2: Battlelines each with numerous customizable skins. Vehicles can also be customized with a multitude of weapons including M60 machine guns, M203 grenade launchers, aircraft guns, mortars, mines, fire & forget radar-guided missiles, and heat-seeking missiles.

In the 56 event single player campaign, players will battle through a variety of challenging modes, achieve a multitude of goals, and destroy numerous rivals – all the while thrashing the environment and using the destruction to their advantage. Full Auto 2: Battlelines features three unique new regions on the PSP system encompassing Asia, Europe, and the United States. Each region offers six tracks including Point-to-Point, Circuit, and Arena levels. The multiplayer portion of the game features different race modes via Ad Hoc connections such as Circuit and Point to Point, or players can challenge others in Arena Deathmatch modes - all of which contain a variety of objectives. Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP system also implements the fan-favorite Unwreck™ feature, which enable players to turn back time and take another shot at a treacherous turn, avoid a deadly obstacle, or simply avoid enemy fire. All the action is backed by a heart pounding soundtrack featuring Stone Sour, Sum 41, We Are Scientists, Wolfmother and others.

Full Auto 2: Battlelines for the PSP system was developed by Deep Fried Entertainment. Rated E10+ for “Everyone Ten and Above” Full Auto 2: Battlelines will retail for $39.99.
