Sega Announces Daytona USA for XBLA, PSN

During the days of coin ops and the Saturn, a fantastic racing title, Daytona USA, dominated the racing genre. Today, Sega has announced that a remake of the game will be coming to XBLA and PSN soon.

The developer announced that the title will be coming to each service's marketplace in two weeks - October 25 - for 800 MSP or $9.99 for PSN members. While the core gameplay will still be kept in tact, Sega revealed several new features including widescreen visuals, online play, support for steering wheels, and a karaoke mode (I still do not understand how this works?!)

Anyone remember playing Daytona USA as a kid? Will you be purchasing the title on October 25? Let us know by commenting below.
