Samuel L Jackson is good to go for Shyamalan’s Unbreakable 2, story outline already done

SPOILERS BELOW

SERIOUSLY, SPOILERS BELOW. DO NOT READ AHEAD UNLESS YOU HAVE SEEN MOST OF M. NIGHT SHYAMALAN'S FILMS.

LAST CHANCE

Ok, well if you're still here you either saw the films or didn't pay attention. Either way you're here. Those of you who have seen Split by M. Night Shyamalan will know that it takes place in the same realm as Unbreakable with Bruce Willis. The speculation of a sequel of course immediately followed, and it appears we will be getting it sooner rather than later. Samuel L. Jackson spoke to Collider recently on how he learned about the films' connections

I got a call and [Shyamalan] said, ‘Call me I wanna talk to you about something.’ And I called him, because I always do when I get a message from him always hoping [it’s Unbreakable 2], and he said, ‘I just did this film called Split, I want you to see it,’ and I was like ‘OK, I’m down with that.’ I had no idea what Split was about or anything else, and he said, ‘We’ll talk after you see it.’ So I went to the arranged screening and I called him immediately and was like, ‘OK dude does this mean what I think it means?’ and he was like, ‘Well first we gotta see how the movie does’. And I think the movie’s done well enough now to merit the ‘OK, let’s put this together.’”

It is a movie after all so we know that of course Bruce Willis will win. How he wins and the action therein, however, will be incredible. In case you forgot, Willis' character in Unbreakable can not be injured and his only weakness is water. He serves as the perfect opposite to Jackson's character Mr. Glass, who is evil and get hurts by everything due to brittle bone disease. Of course, McAvoy's character from Split (Beast/Horde) would destroy Mr. Glass, but he couldn't beat Willis unless he knocks him in water somehow.

It's a lot of wait and see as to the how, but atleast we now know that a sequel is coming. Split made $180 million on a budget of only $9 million, so the cash is there to give the fans what we want. What do you guys think? Let us know below.
