RUMOR: EA Developing Army of Four

According to an anonymous tipster, EA is currently developing the next Army of Two game, which is rumored to be titled "Army of Four."

Speaking to Kotaku, the inside representative described the game as a four player co-op experience being developed by EA Montreal using DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine. Interestingly enough, the source also claims that development is currently struggling due to several unknown reasons, and EA are considering bringing in members of the DICE team to help out the project.

While Army of Two: The 40th Day struggled in terms of critcs and sales, the first installment showed signs of promise, and with four player co-op extremely popular these days, it wouldn't be surprising to see another title. For now, though, take this rumor as grain of salt until we hear official word from EA.
