Rumor: Batman: Arkham Origins will make its PS4, next-Xbox debut at E3


If Warner Bros. really is releasing a next Batman Arkham game -- and Time Warner's CFO already told us they are -- then we can expect a reveal at, or around, E3 2013. The latest rumor comes from French site Gameblog, which claims the next installment in the Arkham series will be called Batman: Arkham Origins.

The game, according to unnamed industry sources, will be a prequel inspired by the Silver Age of comics. It will allegedly feature a number of Justice League members such as Superman and Green Lantern.

Rumor has it Arkham Origins will be a next-gen game, releasing on PS4 and the currently unannounced next Xbox in Q3 2013; although, it is possible it could be available for PS3 and Xbox 360 as well. According to GAF members,'s track record with rumors is "hit and miss," so take what they say with a grain of salt.
